Animation was decent. Her voice is quite good but I felt the vibrato was a little overused which detracted somewhat from the enjoyment of the song for me. Overall, well done.
I can't help but feel that even though this was made in two weeks, that no more than a few total hours was put into it. I'd very much like to see you re-make this with much more time and effort put into it. Early works can be a bitch some time, just keep trying, and keep polishing your product.
Side note: There are shape tools in the Flash maker program. They are your friend.
You've guessed correctly. Even though this flash did take 2 weeks to complete, I only had ~45 minutes each day to work on it during my lunch break.
On the matter of the shape tools, I remain skeptical of using them as I have seen others in my ICT class use them to make their animations and the result is pretty awful.
the click to move system could have been improved by being able to move by click-dragging as in Diablo, Darkspore, etc. While the game itself was fun, it's one giant Dragon Age rip off, the armor and location names were the biggest tip-off to that.
Ok so I think I'll write an actual review unlike most
First Video: Animation was fluid and stylish, well done. While I was happy to see the pulse rifle from Aliens, I was disappointed not to hear the correct sound. I was happy, however, to hear the pistol shot sound from Half-Life 2.
Second Video: Extremely short, animation was again, fluid and stylish. The Scene was a bit un-original I'm afraid.
Third Video: Again, short. Despite that fact I enjoyed it for a reason I can't quite pinpoint.
Fourth Video: I do hope this one gets finished eventually as I am a huge fan of the Aliens v Predator universe. Again I was disappointed at not hearing the actual pulse rifle sound, though I applaud your otherwise mostly accurate sound effects.
Overall Thoughts: There is no singular flaw with any of this, I did enjoy it for the most part. The only thing that gets you a point off on both ratings is the fact that the "Stick Figure" theme has been well overdone. All in all, good stuff.
Thanks for the good review. I did not use the original pulse rifle sound because it always seemed a bit weak to me; that and I couldn't find a decent sound sample of it.
Animation could use a bit of work on fluidity but overall i liked it, mostly for the message involved. Also, I don't believe in NorwegianGuy or ancioos1.
It's metroid with out all the stuff that makes metroid awesome. No music, very limited variety of enemy models, and very basic level design.
And the story (as i gathered it) was to invade an enemy planet, wipe out it's native species, steal their valuables and claim it for the human race? That sounds suitably human.
The only real good thing i'm seeing here is the pixel art, it reminds me of the old school activision (the actual game system from the Atari days) titles that involved near endless dungeon crawling before Metroid came about.
All in all, it's so-so. I'll never come back to it, but some are bound to like it.
Sheizenhammer sums it up pretty thoroughly I'd say. I do find it amusing though how a test that supposedly measures one's intelligence contains improper grammar in the title.
As always Zone you put out a quality Adult Parody. I hope you keep making them and posting them to Newgrounds in addition to Hentai Key...oh and Madness365 is gigantic liar. I find it amusing when people watch these things, and review them then claim not to be a masturbater :P

It's "I.Q." not ".I.Q"
